In October 1962, Ludwig Boschert took over the production of flanging machines from the company Dreistern. These machines, used for flanging sheet metal, were sold worldwide. There is evidence of sales to South Africa as well as Australia. |

Udo Kunz 1956
From 1953, before starting his own business, Udo Kunz worked for two years as an employee at Boschert.
During this time, he operated the lathe and milling machines, mostly during the night shift.
As described in the book “Steigflug und Gleitflug” by Udo Kunz, the company FAS had no interest in this patent by Hermann Fazis, so Boschert produced these safety chucks in exchange for a licensing fee.

| Boschert received many orders in its early years from the then-local textile industry. The company Färberei und Appretur Schusterinsel (FAS) was a major customer of Boschert. This company developed and designed its own products, which Boschert manufactured for FAS. Similarly, the companies Angora, Grundmann, Wenk, and the Reiss Mill in Brombach were also Boschert customers. For these companies, welding and metalworking tasks were carried out. |
